Annual
Events include:
- Party Bridge Drives are held each
year, towards the end of October and in mid February.
- The annual Advent Coffee Morning and
Craft Sale was held this year at the Agenda Hotel, where members
described their Christmas customs at home in Hong Kong, Germany
and France.
- The annual Christmas Lunch was a hugely
enjoyable affair with good food, much chatter and high jinks
with balloons...!
- The annual Golf Outing was again held
at Murrayfield Golf Club under sunny skies on a course in excellent
condition with resulting impressive scores.
- The annual Charity Event this year
was a successful and enjoyable Quiz Night held at Ellersley
House Hotel, with proceeds going towards the total raised this
year to be divided between the Women’s Library in Glasgow,
Richmond’s Hope (for bereaved children) and Scottish Women’s
Aid.
- New Members’ Coffee Mornings
are held during the year and are proving to be very much appreciated
and worthwhile
